Este workshop tiene como objetivo explorar el papel de la innovación y la regulación en la consecución de los objetivos climáticos en tiempos de incertidumbre. Un futuro sostenible requiere de una profunda descarbonización del sistema energético y del uso de nuevas tecnologías que permitan desarrollar nuevos productos y servicios para dar respuesta a las necesidades de los consumidores empoderados. El uso eficiente de las infraestructuras existentes y un funcionamiento óptimo de los mercados de la energía incrementan la importancia que adquiere la gobernanza en la puesta en marcha de este modelo.
El seminario forma parte del proyecto de cooperación europea TR@NSNET (Living-Lab Model for an Ecological Transition through the Integration and Interconnection of Complex Heterogeneous Networks), financiado por los fondos FEDER, y pretende contribuir al desafío de la transición ecológica mediante la definición de un nuevo modelo de Living Lab en el contexto de la innovación abierta.
Funseam participa en el consorcio liderado por la Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, junto con otras instituciones españolas (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Fundación CIRCE-Centro de Recursos y Consumos Energéticos y Fundación Tecnológica de Andalucía -CTA-), francesas (Université La Rochelle) y portuguesas (Faculdade de Ciencias da Universidade de Lisboa y Universidade da Beira Interior).

This Workshop aims to explore the role of innovation and regulation in achieving climate objectives in times of uncertainty. A sustainable future that requires a deep decarbonisation of the energy system and the use of new technologies, combining the development of new products and services that respond to the needs of empowered consumers with an efficient use of existing infrastructures and an optimal functioning of energy markets, and where the governance of the model acquires an increasing relevance.
This Workshop is being run as part of the European cooperation TR@NSNET project. This European project, financed by FEDER funds, and brought to fruition by the consortium led by the French Toulouse III University – Paul Sabatier and which includes the participation of the Foundation for Energy Sustainability (Funseam), the Polytechnic University of Madrid, the University of Lisbon, the University of Beira Interior, the University of La Rochelle, the CIRCE Foundation, and the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA), aims to contribute to the challenge of ecological transition by defining a new model of Living Lab in the context of open innovation.
